A new Anthurium species, cultivated at the Atlanta Botanical Garden since the 1980s, has finally been identified! Thanks to the dedicated team, including Ron Gagliardo & David Ruland, this rare beauty was confirmed as a new species in the Belolonchium section, known for its unique leaf shapes and tropical Andean origins.

Monstera deliciosa 'Bulbasaur' is a new sport mutation which display a mix of dark and light green tones in a mottled pattern, distinguishing it from other variegated forms of Monstera deliciosa. Years ago, Yang Liu discovered this plant as a seed mutation of Monstera deliciosa and named it White Bulbasaur, like the Pokémon character. Submitted to the Aroid Awards by @mda1635 for the IAS Tropical Plant Expo!

Adelonema species exhibit remarkable venation and varied leaf morphology, from lanceolate to cordate shapes. Known for their preference for high humidity (60-80%) and moderate, indirect light, these plants thrive in airy, well-draining substrates with a mix of peat and orchid bark.
